Juner
As a Teaching Artist, Juner extends an exceptional curricular reach given her experience. Since 2013, six of her private students have received gold and silver awards in national high school Scholastic Art & Writing Awards competitions in Connecticut. In 2019, three won gold and silver awards in Connecticut and one won silver nationally. In 2022, one was awarded gold, one silver and three honorable mentions. She was invited to do a Chinese watercolor workshop in the Boston Westford Academy School and Boston Wayland High School, Massachusetts (2017). She also has experience teaching Chinese language and culture in Connecticut and Florida.

Mark
Mark Patnode is juried into the COA Directory of Teaching Artists as a Connecting & Integrating Teaching Artist. A reflection of excellence in both artistry and teaching, Patnode conducts Teacher Artist Collaborations (TACs) through Higher Order Thinking (HOT) Schools. Mark was a Presenter for HOT Schools Summer Institute and a Mentor Teaching Artist with CT Arts in Education. Patnode represented COA HOT Schools at the National Mall, Washington, D.C. in 2010. Patnode was the 2007 & 2008 USA Professional Visual Artist Instructor for Capital Region Education Council - Center for Creative Youth - Cape Verde, Africa - Visual Arts Program.
